I have trouble Connecting Epson XP-202 to IPad Air 2

I Have downloaded the Epson iPrint app. I successfully connected the EPSON XP-202 to my internet one time using a printer cable between my modem and the printer. My iPad then connected to the printer wirelessly and I successfully printed. Now I am trying to connect again, but it is not working. Is there a sequence for connecting the printer to the internet that I am missing? How do I get there from here?

You don't need a third party app to connect to your wireless printer. Delete that app then tap Settings > Wi-Fi.

Your Wi-Fi network should available there. Just enter your Wi-Fi password then try printing.

I have Epson printers and have never needed their app to connect to my Wi-Fi network.
